Arbuthnot Latham appoints senior chartered financial planner

Arbuthnot Latham, the private banking and wealth management arm of the Arbuthnot Banking Group, has appointed Simon Reynolds as a senior chartered financial planner.

Reynolds has been appointed as part of the executives team where he will be responsible for providing financial planning advice to the clients of the bank and their families. He takes up his appointment with immediate effect.
Reynolds joins Arbuthnot Latham from Sanlam Private Investment where he was a senior financial planner, providing strategic financial planning, investment and tax related advice to high net worth clients, including senior executives, business owners and entrepreneurs. Prior to his time with Sanlam, Reynolds was a partner at Reeves & Co, the chartered accountancy group, and a director of its chartered financial planning subsidiary company.
Arbuthnot Latham’s chief executive, James Fleming, says: “Simon’s appointment further strengthens Arbuthnot Latham’s offering to entrepreneurial and executive clients at a time when we are expanding both within the UK and internationally.
“We pride ourselves on knowing what our clients require and we do this by working closely with them, understanding their needs and their aspirations. Appointments such as Simon’s will further enhance these key relationships.
“I am delighted that we have been able to attract the calibre of Simon to join the Arbuthnot Latham team and I very much look forward to working with him.”
Reynolds says: “I am very pleased to be joining the team at Arbuthnot Latham – such a reputable and respected bank. I am looking forward to working closely with all sections of the business to help provide an excellent experience to clients and a joined-up approach to protecting and growing their wealth.”
