Exchange-traded fund provider Invesco PowerShares has appointed Caroline Baron as head of Invesco PowerShares ETF distribution UK.
Baron’s appointment is part of the ongoing expansion of the firm’s team in Europe.
Baron, who will be responsible for driving Invesco PowerShares’ distribution strategy in the UK, joins from iShares, Blackrock in London. Most recently, she was responsible for the servicing of UK wealth managers, private banks and asset managers, having first started her career at iShares in 2006 with responsibility for sales to French institutional clients.
Prior to iShares, Baron spent five years with Credit Agricole Indosuez and IFX Markets.
