iShares makes index change to two fixed income ETFs

iShares has changed the underlying indices for two of its fixed income exchange-traded funds trading on the NYSE Arca.

The iShares Core Short-Term US Bond ETF (ISTB) and the iShares Core Long-Term US Bond ETF (ILTB) will change indices as of 3 June 2014.
 
ISTB's new index will be the Barclays US 1-5yr Universal Index and ILTB's new index will be Barclays US 10-yr Universal Index.
 
The changes are being implemented in order to expand the funds' diversification.
