MoneyGuidePro has integrated with Schwab OpenView Gateway, an open-architecture technology platform that enables integration between Schwab systems and those of participating technology providers.

At IMPACT 2013, MoneyGuidePro was introduced as the financial planning vendor for Schwab OpenView Integrated Office, a turnkey solution that helps advisory practices streamline operations through an integrated technology offering.

“MoneyGuidePro is honoured to be part of Schwab’s OpenView Gateway and Schwab OpenView Integrated Office platforms,” says Bob Curtis, president and CEO of MoneyGuidePro. “This integration is an important first step toward a truly seamless financial planning experience for advisors and their clients. I believe financial services technology is on the verge of significant innovation, and I am excited to see what Schwab and MoneyGuidePro are going to accomplish together in the future.”

The integration enables advisors and their staff to link client profile and client account information, such as balances and positions, back to MoneyGuidePro’s financial planning software system, which will help advisors save time on data entry, maintain current information and prevent user error. The integration provides seamless functionality to advisors and helps them deliver greater value to clients and present more sophisticated, yet easy to understand financial plans that illustrate clients’ near and long-term goals.

“With deeper integration between Schwab systems and financial planning solutions like MoneyGuidePro, we are making it easier for advisors that custody with Schwab to deliver comprehensive wealth management services to their clients,” says Brian Shenson, vice president of advisor technology solutions, Schwab Advisor Services.

By integrating with Schwab OpenView Gateway, MoneyGuidePro now enables advisors to pull Schwab-based client data into the illustrative planning software, giving clients a more precise and realistic snapshot of their assets and future investment scenarios.
