Vanguard Asset Management has extended its fund range to all major UK platforms following an agreement to add 10 UK and Ireland-domiciled index funds to FundsNetwork and Fidelity Personal Investing’s platforms.

Beginning today, nine equity index funds and one bond index fund will be available to FundsNetwork’s advised and intermediated clients and Fidelity Personal Investing clients.

FundsNetwork and Fidelity Personal Investing will add Vanguard’s remaining index funds range later in the year.

The ongoing charges on the 10 funds range from 0.15 per cent to 0.40 per cent, which is consistent with charges on all other UK platforms.

The funds are:

Vanguard FTSE Developed Europe ex-UK Equity Index Fund
Vanguard FTSE Developed World ex-UK Equity Index Fund
Vanguard Global Small-Cap Index Fund
Vanguard Japan Stock Index Fund
Vanguard US Equity Fund
Vanguard Pacific ex-Japan Stock Index Fund
Vanguard Emerging Markets Stock Index Fund
Vanguard SRI Global Stock Fund
Vanguard SRI European Stock Fund
Vanguard UK Government Bond Index Fund

Nick Blake, head of retail for Vanguard Europe, says: “I’m pleased investors are now able to access a portion of Vanguard’s range of high quality, low-cost index funds through FundsNetwork and Fidelity Personal Investing.  We’ll continue to work with FundsNetwork and Fidelity Personal Investing to add our remaining funds later in the year.  As we approach our fifth year anniversary in the UK, we remain focused on helping investors reach their goals through providing exceptional value in terms of experience, low-cost investing and client focus. Our partnership with FundsNetwork and Fidelity Personal Investing enables investors greater access to the Vanguard way of investing.”

Pat Shea, head of FundsNetwork at Fidelity Worldwide Investment, says: “Passive products are increasingly becoming an important component of many investment portfolios. We’re committed to supporting advisers and investors by providing them access to a broad range of quality passive products alongside our comprehensive range of active funds available on the platform today. The addition of the Vanguard index funds to the FundsNetwork and Fidelity Personal Investing platforms sees us delivering on this commitment and the funds are a welcome addition to the platforms.”
