Skandia adds Woodford fund to SelfSelect

RELATED TOPICS

Skandia is adding Neil Woodford’s Equity Income fund to its SelfSelect open fund range and a bespoke sub-advised mandate of the fund to its WealthSelect researched fund range.

The fund, which is the first launch from Woodford Investment Management, will have an ongoing fund charge of 0.65 per cent in both ranges.

SelfSelect is Skandia’s open fund range which enables financial advisers to build their own portfolios from a range of over 1,200 funds.

WealthSelect provides access to Skandia’s researched fund range of around 60 funds at competitive prices as well as its managed portfolio service, which is offered at no additional cost to the fund TERs within the portfolios.

Dean Bowden, head of investment solutions at Skandia, says: “We are committed to offering financial advisers and customers access to the very best fund managers at a highly competitive price. Woodford Investment Management has a proven investment approach which will be in high demand from financial advisers so we are pleased to have secured a great price for them via our platform.”

The fund will be available on Skandia’s SelfSelect platform from 20 June and through WealthSelect later in the year, when the construction of the Old Mutual Global Investors sub-advised vehicle is complete.
