Sarah G Green joins board of directors of Cambridge Trust Company

Cambridge Trust Company has appointed Sarah (Sally) G Green to its board of directors.

Green was first vice president and chief operating officer at the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond from 2006 to 2013.
She had responsibility for the bank's payments systems, outreach, financial management, information technology, and corporate support services.
“We are pleased to welcome Sally to the board of directors,” says Joseph V Roller, president and CEO of Cambridge Bancorp and Cambridge Trust Company. “Her extensive experience as a central banker will make her a valuable contributor to the board. Sally’s insights and perspectives on current Federal Reserve System policies and the regulatory environment will help Cambridge Trust achieve the bank’s long-term strategic objectives.”
“I am excited to be a part of the Cambridge Trust Company board. I look forward to helping the bank with its on-going mission of providing high-quality customer service, while increasing value for their shareholders,” says Green.
At the national level, Green served as a member and immediate past-chair of the Federal Reserve System’s Conference of Chief Operating Officers. She was also a member of the financial services policy committee, which sets the strategic direction and oversees the system’s payments services.
Prior to joining the Richmond Fed, Green held various positions at the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston in its payments systems and economic research areas.
Green served on the board of directors of the United Way of Greater Richmond and Petersburg and chaired its Women's Leadership Initiative from July 2008 to June 2011. She also served as chair of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Richmond’s board of directors. Green was a member of the board of the Virginia Early Childhood Foundation, the Smart Beginnings Greater Richmond Leadership Council, and the Executive Advisory Council of the Robins School of Business at the University of Richmond. She received the 2012 YWCA Outstanding Woman Award in the Business category.
