Walker Crips expands team with appointment of John Fletcher

Walker Crips, the integrated investment and wealth management group, has strengthened the investment arm of the company with the appointment of John Fletcher as stockbroker.

Fletcher was previously at Charles Stanley for 12 years where he was a stockbroker and also focused on derivatives and exchange-traded products. He has worked in financial services for 28 years.

Fletcher’s appointment follows the recent financial results issued earlier this month which showed Walker Crips Group’s underlying profit of GBP0.5 million for the year ended 31 March 2014.

Rodney FitzGerald, chief executive of Walker Crips, says: “This is an exciting time for Walker Crips as we celebrate our Centenary this year and continue with our expansion plans. John’s expertise will be invaluable as we continue to build the business.

“John is one of the many investment managers and stockbrokers we are continuing to recruit this year and his arrival demonstrates our commitment to offering the very best advice and service to our expanding client base.”
