Walker Crips, the integrated investment and wealth management group, has strengthened its investment arm with the hire of Steven Moss and Mark Entwistle as stockbrokers.

Moss was previously at Barclays and has more than 20 years financial services experience. He began his career in the Glasgow office before moving to London and progressing to deputy head of the advisory stockbroking team, specialising in portfolio management and advice for private clients, trusts and charities.

Entwistle also joins from Barclays, where he spent five years after graduating from Durham University. After a period in the Monaco office, he moved to join the advisory dealing team in London. Mark is a CFA Charterholder and focuses on short-term trading ideas in both equities and contracts for difference.

Moss and Entwistle’s arrival follows the recent appointment of stockbroker John Fletcher.

Rodney FitzGerald, chief executive of Walker Crips, says: “Steven and Mark’s appointment demonstrate our commitment to offering the very best advice and service to our expanding client base. The growth of our advisory and advisory managed investment division is in direct response to increasing demand from our clients.

“This is an interesting time for Walker Crips as we celebrate our centenary year and continue with our expansion plans. Steven and Mark’s experience will be invaluable as we build the business and we look forward to working with them both to continue to grow Walker Crips’ reputation as one of the UK's leading firms of bespoke investment and wealth managers.”
