BlackRock Asset Management Canada has appointed Pat Chiefalo as managing director, head of product for the iShares Canada ETF business.
Chiefalo, formerly director of ETF research and strategy for National Bank Financial, will assume his new role on 2 September.

Over a 15-year career in the financial industry, Chiefalo has established himself as one of Canada's pre-eminent expert on ETFs, and has a track record of knowledge and innovative research into ETF flows, product analysis, industry trends and both retail and institutional marketing.
Before joining National Bank Financial in 2009, Chiefalo, served as vice president, derivatives sales at Bank of America Merrill Lynch.
