The Adviser Centre has removed Threadneedle UK from its Recommended List with immediate effect.
Gill Hutchison, head of investment research, City Financial, says: “Following the news on 3 September 2014 that the manager of Threadneedle UK, Simon Brazier, has left the firm, we have removed the fund from The Adviser Centre’s Recommended List.
“Chris Kinder has been named the lead manager of the fund with immediate effect. He is also the manager of Threadneedle UK Extended Alpha.
“Four other team-members are also leaving the firm and we will be discussing the broader implications of these important changes to the UK equities team with Threadneedle as soon as possible.”
Threadneedle UK Equity Income, managed by Leigh Harrison and Richard Colwell, and Threadneedle UK Monthly Income, managed by Jonathan Barber, continue to feature as recommended funds within The Adviser Centre.
Brazier was also head of UK equities at Threadneedle. Harrison, head of equities, has now resumed responsibility for the UK equities team.
