Middleburg Wealth Management (MWM) has appointed William M Francavilla as director of wealth management.

Francavilla, a former director of wealth management, branch and division manager for Legg Mason and a 28-year veteran of the financial services industry, expects to work with a select clientele and further develop estate-planning strategies with MWM.

"Bill's goal is to always achieve at the highest level, whether as a producer, advisor coach, published author, sales trainer or public speaker," says Julie-Anne Lewis, chief executive of MWM. "His 28 years of experience and reputation speak for themselves, and will add tremendous value to Middleburg Wealth Management and, especially to our clients."

"Julie-Anne and her team are in growth mode and I look forward to lending support where needed, whether it's assisting her client's estate planning needs, focusing on new asset acquisition, or developing strategies designed to preserve wealth in an ever changing market environment," Francavilla says. "There are many firms I could work for but Julie-Anne and her team clearly distinguish themselves with their commitment to client service above all else, and I'm proud to ally myself with them. They are among the best I've seen."
