Arbuthnot Latham & Co is celebrating the first anniversary of the opening of its Dubai international office.
The office, located in the Gate Precinct of the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC), has seen a steady stream of business since it opened in 2013.
Arbuthnot Latham’s chief executive, James Fleming, says: “When we announced the establishment of the Arbuthnot Latham office in Dubai last year, I said at the time that this was a reflection of our growing confidence for growth in the region and the position which Dubai occupies within that growth, however, little did I know how successful our first year would prove in attracting new clients to the bank.
“This first year has proved that there is great potential for a specialist boutique private bank in Dubai delivering a bespoke service to high net worth clients and I look forward with excitement to what we can achieve in the years to come.”
As part of the first anniversary celebrations, Arbuthnot Latham will be hosting a select reception and dinner for over 100 people at the new Gary Rhodes restaurant, Rhodes W1, based in the Grosvenor House, Dubai Marina Hotel.
Arbuthnot Latham Dubai’s managing director, Paul Millar, says: “My comments last year were around the vision to build a brand that offers exceptional private banking and wealth management services to our clients. Initial client acquisition numbers, and their feedback, provides us with the confidence that our client proposition strategy is growing and being well received in the marketplace.
“The announcement of Dubai EXPO 2020 also provides a positive landscape around population growth, investment in Dubai and ultimately the creation of wealth within the economy and the wider region.”
