NLP Financial Management and Birchwood Investment Management join forces

Birchwood Investment Management has merged with the NLP Financial Management Group (NLPFM), with the combined group now looking after over 2,000 clients and over GBP550 million of funds.

The two companies will still operate from their two locations in Swiss Cottage, London (NLPFM) and in Welwyn, Hertfordshire (Birchwood) and will run as separate companies, but will combine their expertise to provide clients of the group with a more comprehensive service.
Fourteen advisers will provide advice in the merged business, eight from NLPFM and six from Birchwood.
NLPFM director Adam Katten says: “Birchwood's extensive experience in offering a financial planning service to outplacement companies, provides the group with a great opportunity to promote our services to a whole new range of clients across the country.”
Birchwood managing director Trevor Simms says: “The servicing strength and technical expertise of NLPFM should enable new and exciting services to be offered to our clients and further increase the service offering across the group as a whole. I am very excited about this new relationship.”
