Imatchative, the company behind the AltX data analytics platform and marketplace for capital introduction in the global alternative asset class space, has appointed John Bohan to the role of Head of Corporate Development

Having served as an advisor to the company, Bohan will now be a member of the executive team of the company and work directly with Sam Hocking, the company’s Founder and CEO, to develop key global strategic relationships.

“By filling this new position with someone of John's caliber, the company is better positioned to develop partnerships that will play a critical role in our domestic and international growth. John brings a wealth of knowledge and strong relationships to our company, having worked in New York, Boston, London and Tokyo throughout his successful career in the financial industry,” says Hocking.

Bohan has a proven track record of building, growing, and transforming businesses. Most recently, John led both equities and commodities businesses for BNP Paribas. Prior to that, he was the head of trading and electronic execution businesses at Deutsche Bank.

“Having worked with John before, I know the kind of professional excellence that he brings to the table. His 20 years of Wall Street and capital markets experience, including work in equities, commodities and mergers and acquisitions, makes him a great asset to our team. I’m looking forward to partnering with him again as we continue to build an incredible company,” says Hocking. “John’s hire comes at an important time for Imatchative and our first product AltX, as we accelerate growth thanks to the recent completion of our Series B funding with lead strategic investors Wells Fargo, Carlos Slim, and David Bonderman of TPG.”
