New SPDR bond index ETF launched on Xetra

RELATED TOPICS

A new bond index fund from the ETF offering issued by SPDR (State Street Global Advisors) – The SPDR BofA Merrill Lynch 0-5 Year EM USD Government Bond UCITS ETF – is now trading in the XTF segment on Xetra.

The new ETF enables investors to participate in the performance of USD-denominated government bonds with short maturities from emerging market countries. Bonds must have a minimum nominal value of USD500 million, a residual maturity of no more than five years and fixed income in order to be accepted into the index. Bonds with a rating of Caa3/CCC- or lower are excluded. The country risk is limited to a maximum of 10 percent per country.

The product offering in Deutsche Börse’s XTF segment currently comprises a total of 1,040 exchange traded funds. This selection, together with an average monthly trading volume of around EUR11 billion, makes Xetra Europe’s leading trading venue for ETFs.

Xetra and XTF are registered trademarks of Deutsche Börse AG.
