Seix Investment Advisors , a subsidiary of RidgeWorth Capital Management, has hired James Boothby as a Managing Director, Head of Endowment & Foundation Sales.

In this capacity, Boothby will focus on sales and marketing activity directed at endowments and foundations in North America, with a particular emphasis on entities that have investable assets in excess of USD250 million. Working in concert with Seix's existing institutional sales and client service team, Boothby's direct sales activities will broaden Seix's distribution reach to large endowments and foundations, as well as to family offices and certain outsourced chief investment officer entities ("OCIO").

"This position, and the hiring of Jim, will help RidgeWorth Investments continue to evolve and expand," says Ashi S Parikh, RidgeWorth Chief Executive Officer and Chief Investment Officer. "His specialised experience with endowments and foundations makes him a valuable addition to the RidgeWorth team at a time when we have specifically identified these entities as an attractive growth opportunity for Seix, given the evolving nature of fixed income allocations by many endowments and foundations."

Boothby spent the last three years at Palisade Capital Management, most recently serving as a vice president of institutional sales. There, he was responsible for business development with large endowments and foundations and fund-of-fund entities throughout the US and Canada, including the marketing of alternative fixed income strategies.  Among other previous affiliations, he served as Director, Institutional Sales with Aviva Investors where he marketed traditional and alternative fixed income strategies to a broad universe of institutional investors.

"Jim's role is a new one for Seix, and one we are very excited about. We believe the focus of the position will help us better serve our existing endowment and foundation clients and will help our business strengthen and grow," says Patrick McNelis, Managing Director and Head of Global Distribution & Client Service. "Given Jim's strong relationships in the Endowment & Foundation community, he will be a great asset to Seix and RidgeWorth as we move into the future."
