Lincoln Private Investment Office launches

New wealth management company Lincoln Private Investment Office (Lincoln) is looking to combine the best qualities of a family office, private client stockbroker and a private bank.

The company has been formed by three former Berenberg Bank executives, Ross Elder, Fred Hervey and Becky Robbins as Managing Partner, Chief Investment Officer and Chief Operating Officer respectively. The team brings over 17 years of working together to deliver a modern, unconflicted private investment office.

This select team are supported by an outstanding Investment Advisory Board including Hugh Sloane of Sloane Robinson, Dipankar Shewaram formerly of BlueBay Asset Management and Alan Carruthers formerly of JPMorgan Cazenove. The Investment Advisory Board uses their investment expertise to guide how funds are handled for each and every client – including where their own investments are managed by Lincoln.
Lincoln is aligned with its clients’ interests and to demonstrate this, the team invest their own personal assets alongside their clients. In addition, the company has no external investors; Lincoln’s shareholders are all clients. While not all clients have to be shareholders, each client has an opportunity to become one.
Ross Elder, Managing Partner at Lincoln says: “We have launched Lincoln to deliver a better service for clients looking for high quality expertise in the management of their wealth.

Through our respective careers we have observed an industry hampered by inefficiencies, varied service levels and unimpressive investment returns.  As we launch Lincoln, we are confident that we have a team of investment professionals, supported by a high-quality Investment Advisory Board, which will provide wealth management services that are totally aligned to today’s high net worth individuals and families.
We have quickly secured an exceptional client base of sophisticated financial professionals and high calibre entrepreneurs. We are confident we will build strongly on this initial growth. Our initial clients have been attracted by the opportunity to be part of such a compelling investment proposition.”
As a private investment office, Lincoln is fair, transparent and unconflicted. Each client has access to sophisticated, expertly selected funds, with clear and timely reporting underpinned by flexible, smart technology.
