Sarasin & Partners strengthens its UK discretionary sales team with two new hires

Sarasin & Partners has appointed Marc Robinson as Sales Director and Ally Kidd as Sales Support and Client Relationship Manager within its UK intermediary team.

The appointments come as Sarasin & Partners’ looks to enhance its service to existing intermediaries and expand its coverage of the UK discretionary and wealth manager segments.

Robinson, who joined Sarasin & Partners in October, will focus on increasing the firm’s distribution reach and business development capabilities in London and the South. Robinson was previously EMEA Sales Director at Pioneer Global Investments, and prior to that was Head of UK Wholesale at Amundi.

Kidd will join in January 2015 to manage both the client support function and strategic client relationships within Sarasin & Partners’ discretionary offering. She joins from her position at Liontrust as Head of Broker Sales and CRM. Ally has also held sales and business development roles at Jupiter and Legal & General.

Sam Jeffries, Partner, says: “Marc and Ally bring strong credentials and experience of working with discretionary wealth managers, and their appointments underpin our continued commitment to the UK intermediary market. The expansion of our team serves to build on the existing success and continuing growth of our fund range, bespoke solutions and model portfolios, which draw on Sarasin & Partners’ multi-asset and long-term thematic investment expertise.”
