Laverton appoints Davina Rich as Director and Priva te Client Portfolio Manager.

Waverton Investment Management (Waverton) has appointed Davina Rich as a Director and Private Client Portfolio Manager.  Based in London, Rich will work alongside Charles Hemphill, a Senior Portfolio Manager.

Previously at North of South Capital, Rich was a senior analyst and set up their equity research function.  She started her career in 1998 at Deutsche Asset Management managing emerging market equity portfolios and subsequently working in the global equities team.  After Deutsche she co-founded Stoneware Capital where she managed a concentrated global equity market-neutral hedge fund.  Rich is a CFA charter holder.

 
Hugh Grootenhuis, CEO, says: “Davina’s appointment builds on the success we have been having in the private client business. Davina will be actively involved in contributing to Waverton’s investment process as well as taking on and managing new clients.  Her experience in equity analysis in both emerging and developed markets compliments Waverton’s long term wealth creation principles.”
