DeAWM launches actively-managed MF for European equities


Deutsche Asset & Wealth Management (DeAWM) has launched the Deutsche European Equity Fund, an open-end mutual fund that invests in a mmix of companies companies headquartered in Europe.

“Deutsche Asset & Wealth Management is uniquely positioned to help investors capitalise on opportunities stemming from ongoing structural adjustments in the Eurozone,” says Jerry Miller, Head of Deutsche Asset & Wealth Management in the Americas. “With the launch of the Deutsche European Equity Fund, we are offering our global perspective and expansive regional expertise to US investors seeking European equity exposure.”

The Fund utilises an active bottom-up investment approach which focuses on European companies with above-average earnings potential. The Fund management team is well resourced, comprised of over 30 dedicated portfolio managers with an average of 13 years of investment experience in all major European market segments. The portfolio management team is led by Britta Weidenbach, Gerd Kirsten, Mark Schumann and Christian Reuter.
