Canaccord Genuity Wealth Management hires new intermediary sales director

Canaccord Genuity Wealth Management (CGWM) has appointed Andrew Clotworthy as Intermediary Sales Director, reporting into Sean Taylor, Head of UK Intermediary Sales.

Clotworthy joins from Charles Stanley, where he has spent 15 years in a variety of roles in London and Southampton. During this time Clotworthy has built a deep knowledge of the intermediary sector, and in particular, the use of platforms and model portfolio services.
The firm already has a good following amongst intermediaries and offers a suite of products and services. With a strong centralised investment process that underpins it investment solutions, CGWM is well placed to expand its offering to the intermediary market and build on a series of partnerships that compliment both the requirements of advisers’ and their clients, as well as the core strengths of the Canadian owned global business.
David Esfandi, Chief Executive at CGWM, says: “Andrew will further build on the foundations already in place and increase our footprint in the South and therefore contribute to our ongoing growth plan for this space.”
