Morris Gottesman joins US Capital Advisors as Senior MD

US Capital Advisors (USCA) has appointed Morris Gottesman as a Senior Managing Director in the firm’s Austin office.

Prior to joining USCA, Gottesman was a Senior Vice President – Investments with Wells Fargo where he provided full service financial advice to his high net worth clients.

Gottesman began his career in commercial real estate but soon transitioned to the financial services industry in 1988 with Shearson. He moved to Prudential Securities in 2001, which merged with Wachovia and ultimately, Wells Fargo Advisors.
This move reunites Morris with his long-time friend and former Regional President, Ford McTee, who joined USCA two years ago to run USCA's Austin market.

"Morris Gottesman is one of the most influential and highest quality financial professionals in Austin," says Ford McTee, Senior Managing Director and Austin Market Manager. "His Integrity, ethics, and drive to do what is right for his clients have served him well for 27 years in the industry.”

Patrick Mendenhall, a Managing Partner and Head of Wealth Management at USCA, says: "We are pleased that Morris has selected USCA as the firm of choice.  The array of both public and private investment opportunities that USCA offers is a great fit for Morris and his sophisticated and successful clientele."

Gottesman earned a BBA in Business from the University of Texas. He serves as the Treasurer of the Dell Children's Medical Foundation Board, on the Heartgift Advisory Board and on the board of Tarry House.  Previously, he served on the boards of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Austin and the American Cancer Society and was a former president of The Seton Forum.
