jonathanfry acquires Norwest Consultants

Jonathanfry  has acquired the business of Norwest Consultants, previously run by Harry Katz, for an undisclosed sum.

Katz has run Norwest Consultants for over 25 years. Although he had no wish to retire now, in his own words “everyone, including me, reaches a sell by date – much as I would prefer to deny it”. He has been searching for a suitable partner to whom he would feel confident entrusting his clients for some time. He continues: “The firm that I have finally selected I believe is of the highest calibre and offers the best and most comprehensive service”.

HKatz will work as a consultant for jonathanfry to ensure a smooth transition for his clients.

jonathanfry provides independent advice and a range of wealth management services. These include financial planning advice, discretionary investment management, advisory investment management and the industry-leading cash management service Dynamic Cash Management.

As announced in November 2014, jonathanfry is currently also merging with Easby Gale and Phillipson (a transaction which is proceeding well, has now received regulatory approval and should be completed within a few weeks.). The merged company will be called Gale & Phillipson and will have offices in London, Newcastle, Northallerton (North Yorkshire) and Richmond (North Yorkshire). It has ambitious expansion plans through organic growth and through acquisition.
