Motif Investing launches two new products on an adivisor platform

Online broker Motif Investing has launched two new products for its advisor platform – Motif AutoPilot and Motif GenerationConnect – to complement its core portfolio management offering.

Motif AutoPilot equips advisors with automated investment management for millennials' accounts, while Motif GenerationConnect gives advisors a social platform to cultivate client relationships and manage wealth across generations. With $18 trillion in wealth expected to transfer between generations within the next eight years, these offerings are particularly important for advisors seeking to provide a seamless transition from Baby Boomers to their Gen X and Gen Y counterparts.

Motif Investing also announced an agreement with Pershing that will allow Motif to extend its reach into global markets. Pershing LLC, a BNY Mellon Company, is the industry's largest global clearing and custody provider, serving more than 400 international financial organisations. It provides clearing and custody in more than 70 markets and execution in over 60 markets globally making it an outstanding partner as Motif Investing continues to scale.

"Motif Investing has developed a highly sophisticated platform that is easy for individual investors and advisors to use," says Jim Crowley, Chief Relationship Officer at Pershing. "We are pleased to collaborate with Motif as it launches new products for advisors and takes it first steps into international markets."

"With our newest products, we can now solve advisors' biggest pain points across all phases of the client lifecycle," says Hardeep Walia, founder and CEO of Motif Investing. "We look forward to building a deep and meaningful relationship with Pershing at many levels."

"Motif offers a unique approach to intergenerational wealth management," says Mark Tibergien, CEO and Managing Director of Pershing Advisor Solutions, a BNY Mellon Company. "We are pleased to be working with the company as it rolls out its next-generation digital wealth management technologies."
