DeAWM adds private banker in LA

Deutsche Asset & Wealth Management (DeAWM) has appointed Susan Moffat as a Private Banker based in Los Angeles with responsibility for serving ultra-high-net worth clients on the West Coast.

Before joining Deutsche AWM, Moffat worked at JP Morgan Private Bank, where she was a Vice President in the firm’s Los Angeles office. She was responsible for working with ultra-high-net worth individuals including financial sponsors, hedge fund principals and entrepreneurs. Prior to JP Morgan Private Bank, Moffat worked for the investment bank of JP Morgan and on the fixed income capital markets desk at Lehman Brothers in New York. Susan serves on the board of NextStep Fitness, a not-for-profit organisation which she also co-founded. Moffat holds a BS in Accounting from Wagner College, where she played on the school’s Division I Women’s Basketball team.

“We are excited to have Susan on our team, as she brings extensive experience and exceptional relationships to our expanding West Coast platform,” says Chip Packard, Co-Head of Wealth Management in the Americas. “We are committed to broadening our reach and delivering our unique wealth management platform in the region.”
