New IFA Lasenby Knox targets individual and corporate clients

New Manchester-based IFA, Lasenby Knox is offering a full range of services – cash optimisation, investment management, tax efficient planning, and protection – to both individual and corporate clients.

Led by managing director, Jonnie Whittle (pictured), the firm also has a London office and an international offering in the Isle of Man.
Whittle, 32, who was previously a director at Cameron Chase, has worked in financial services for a decade, focussing on financial planning and investment management for individuals and businesses. He also worked for RSM Tenon before it was acquired by Baker Tilly.
Lasenby Knox’s aim is to fulfil the role of a personal finance director to its clients with a particular focus on service.
The firm has appointed Carla Langley, 29, as a technical and investment specialist from Brown Shipley Private Bank. There, she was an equity analyst, and responsible for stock-picking by valuing FTSE All-Share equities. Before that she was at national firm IFG Financial Services acting as head of investment policy with a responsibility for designing and developing a centralised investment proposition and operations overview.
Whittle says: "In our industry, a business is only as good as its team. We're building an exciting, young firm with a fresh approach to financial advice and servicing our clients.
"Carla brings a great deal of technical expertise and the attention to detail that is fast-becoming the Lasenby Knox hallmark.
"Many of our clients are entrepreneurs or senior professionals who have built and are running or have sold their businesses. They're a discerning audience that is time-poor but know exactly what they're looking to achieve and have a determination to do so.
"As an ambitious business ourselves, we offer straight-talking and effective advice that gives our clients complete confidence in their financial future."
Whittle is an ex-professional rugby player, having played both league and union and holds a physics degree from Manchester University.
