UBS launches new ETF on Xetra

UBS has launched a new exchange-listed equity index fund, the UBS ETF – MSCI EMU Hedged USD UCITS ETF (USD) A-dis – on Deutsche Börse’s XTF segment on Xetra.

The new ETF gives investors the opportunity for the first time to track the performance of the equity markets in the European Monetary Union (EMU) in US dollars and to benefit at the same time from any appreciation of the US dollar against the euro. The index currently comprises 238 stock corporations from the following ten countries: Belgium, Germany, Finland, France, Ireland, Italy, the Netherlands, Austria, Portugal and Spain.

The product offering in Deutsche Börse’s XTF segment currently comprises a total of 1,043 exchange traded funds. This selection, together with an average monthly trading volume of around €11 billion, makes Xetra Europe’s leading trading venue for ETFs.
