Financial Horizons becomes Intersect Capital

Independent asset management firm Financial Horizons Wealth Building Strategies has rebranded itself as Intersect Capital LLC.

The change coincides with the launch of Family Office Services (FOS), a full suite of financial planning and asset management solutions for a unique set of clients led by personal finance veteran Joe McLean. The FOS line of investment management, risk management, advanced multi-generational wealth planning and full lifestyle management will serve the firm's current clients in addition to McLean's client base of professional athletes and entrepreneurs.

"Joe and his team bring a deep skill set and a wide array of offerings that define Intersect Capital," says Dave Shiell, managing partner of Intersect Capital. "We are excited for the opportunity they bring to expand our menu of financial planning and wealth management services, and to work with a prestigious group of new and potential clients."

Intersect Capital offers wealth management to assist clients in building a portfolio to meet their financial goals through a combination of equities including, but not limited to, real estate, money market funds, bonds and exchange-traded funds (ETFs). The firm also provides financial planning to assist clients with focused issues including estate planning, charitable giving, business retirement plans and debt management.

"I'm excited about Intersect Capital because of the opportunities it creates for our clients," says Intersect Capital managing partner McLean. "It's crucial for our professional athletes and business leaders to have access to long-term financial and investment planning as well as a networked experience at Intersect. These are solutions we can present to clients thanks to the firm's expertise."
