Value Partners Group has selected The Charles River Investment Management Solution (Charles River IMS) for portfolio management, trading, compliance, and performance measurement and attribution.

Users will have a single, integrated platform to support investment management activities across the firm’s equities, fixed income, FX, and derivatives operations. Value Partners will also leverage Charles River’s day-to-day application management, compliance rule advisory service, and the broker-neutral Charles River Network for global electronic trading via FIX.

Value Partners will serve as a Charles River development partner, providing valuable feedback on local and regional requirements, such as Domestic Chinese A-shares and related derivatives.

“With Charles River as our technology solution provider, this will enhance our business expansion in the region,” says Jonathan Mo, Chief Operating Officer of Value Partners. “By switching our existing system to Charles River IMS, it is expected to improve productivity for Portfolio Managers and Traders.”

“With 35 clients in Hong Kong and Mainland China, Charles River has a strong reputation for addressing the needs of local asset managers,” says Cameron Field, Managing Director-Asia-Pacific, Charles River. “Our scalable solution, delivered to clients fully-managed, helps firms, like Value Partners, to increase operational efficiencies and reduce risk.”
