The London-based multi-family office, SandAire and Lord North Street Private Investment Office, who merged in 2014 are to operate as one entity and will trade as an integrated business under the new name – Sandaire Investment Office.

Sandaire Investment Office will be 100% owned by the Scott family and professionally managed by a board and management drawing on the resources from both original firms. The members of the executive board drawn from the merged firms are as follows:

Alexander Scott – Chairman
William Drake – Vice Chairman
Adam Wethered – Vice Chairman
Alexandra Altinger – Chief Executive Officer

Drew McNeil – Head of Client Relationship Management
Bruce Offergelt – Chief Operating Officer
Olivia Hancock – Chief of Staff
Sandaire Investment Office will continue to focus on providing conflict-free investment management services to wealthy families and major endowment funds both in the UK and internationally.  Over the last 9 months under the direction of CEO, Alexandra Altinger, an intensive integration process has been undertaken to bring together the two businesses across all areas including client servicing, the investment process and operational systems.  These services are provided from Sandaire Investment Office in Wigmore Street, London.

Alexandra Altinger, CEO of Sandaire Investment Office, says: “We are confident that this melding of skills within Sandaire Investment Office will be of great benefit to our clients. We have brought together two teams of people with exceptional talent, a shared ethos and set of values which are at the heart of clients’ interests.  Moreover, we see our ownership and management structure being critical to the long-term nature of managing the investments of multi-generational clients and long-term endowments.  Having combined the two firms’ deep experience, we are very much fit for purpose with a refreshed commitment to delivering exceptional risk-adjusted investment results.  We seek to be a default choice for wealthy families and foundations requiring excellence in investment management.”

Adam Wethered, Vice Chairman of Sandaire Investment Office, says: “We are extremely pleased with the way our businesses have come together so effectively and are grateful to all those who have put in the extra time to ensure this has happened so smoothly and seamlessly. Our new trading name, Sandaire Investment Office, very accurately describes what we are about. We only look after families and foundations with very large fortunes and they come to us because they are looking for a business with strong ownership, an underlying longevity and managed by a group of professionals who are expert in investment and firmly working in their interests. We believe these facets single us out for our ability to deliver what our clients and their professional advisers seek.

“Sandaire Investment Office will be managed by highly experienced and talented professionals under a long-term incentive plan and this, together with the continuity of ownership by the highly respected Scott family which goes back over several generations, is for us and our clients a powerful combination.”
