Renaissance Capital, provider of IPO-focused exchange traded funds (ETFs), has been named “Most Innovative North American ETF Provider” at the ETF Express awards ceremony in London.

The annual ETF Express Global Awards recognise excellence among managers and service providers of ETFs around the world.

Renaissance Capital is the first to offer IPO-only ETFs that enable investors to own important newly public companies before they are fully-weighted in core equity portfolios.  These products include the Renaissance IPO ETF (NYSE Ticker: IPO) and the Renaissance International IPO ETF (NYSE Ticker: IPOS).  “We are truly honoured to be recognised by the investment community for our role as an ETF innovator,” said Kathleen Smith, founding principal of Renaissance Capital.

“The Renaissance IPO ETFs, calculated by FTSE Group, give investors the opportunity to own a unique rules-based portfolio of newly public companies before they are picked up by widely-used benchmark indices such as the S&P 500 and without the risks of single stock selection,” says Smith. “With these IPO-focused ETFs, investors can put the new economy to work in their portfolios.”
