CSIM launches Common Sense Solutions

RELATED TOPICS

Common Sense Investment Management (CSIM) has launched Common Sense Solutions, a bespoke portfolio construction and fund structuring service for institutional investors.

Common Sense Solutions couples 24 years of hedge fund research, investment & operational due diligence with specialised portfolio & fund construction services to offer institutional investors and family offices custom products. The process is designed to meet investors' specifications across varied strategies, geographic and sector exposures and risk-adjusted return targets.

Common Sense Solutions offers a consultative approach to building portfolios that will access CSIM's Hedge Fund Strategies and Liquid Strategies businesses. This will allow investors to focus their portfolios on either strategy space or combine fundamental equity long/short managers with managed futures and currency managers in one portfolio as required.

"Investors now have a wealth of options when it comes to building alternative portfolios. Over the past 24 years Common Sense has developed an extensive list of unique managers that represent a broad array of styles, strategies and performance characteristics," says Jonathan Gane, CEO. "These managers form the 'building blocks' with which we can construct custom portfolios to meet a variety of client needs. We can help codify and translate the investors' needs and subsequently design and implement their allocations to alternatives. We believe this will result in custom portfolios that precisely match the investors underlying requirements."
