RELATED TOPICS

In response to investor demand, Ossiam, the specialist smart beta investment manager and affiliate of Natixis Global Asset Management (NGAM), has added a distributing share class to the Ossiam FTSE 100 Minimum Variance fund.

The new share class is an ETF (Ossiam FTSE 100 Minimum Variance UCITS ETF 1D (GBP)) and is listed on the London Stock Exchange.

The aim of the FTSE 100 Minimum Variance index tracked by the ETF is to deliver the net total return performance of a selection of the most liquid stocks from the FTSE 100 that are weighted to minimise the volatility of the total portfolio. The FTSE 100 Minimum Variance index reflects the performance of a dynamic selection of the 95 most liquid stocks from the FTSE 100.

December marked the third anniversary of the Ossiam FTSE 100 Minimum Variance UCITS ETF 1C (GBP), the accumulating share class, which was listed on the London Stock Exchange in January 2012. Upon passing the three year milestone, Morningstar granted the ETF a five star rating in January this year.
