Corporate services provider First Names Group has appointed Keat Cheng Chin as Structured Finance Director.

Based in Dublin, Ireland, Keat will play a significant role in developing the Structured Finance proposition for the Group, in particular implementing robust structured finance deals for the Irish business, including CLOs, aviation and real estate structures.

A very highly motivated professional with a broad range of competencies, Keat, is a member of both the Malaysian Institute of Accountants and the Malaysian Institute of Certified Public Accountants.  He brings an extensive, multi-jurisdictional base of experience, having previously worked in The Netherlands, Ireland, Luxembourg, Germany and the UK before settling in Ireland in 2001

Keat says: “This is a really exciting time to join the Group.  I am looking forward to working with the team in Ireland and First Names across its many locations.  The Group’s global presence provides great potential for commercial opportunities and I am really pleased to be working in such a dynamic organisation.”

Oonagh Hayes, Managing Director Corporate and Institutional Services at First Names Group Ireland, says: “I would like to welcome Keat to the Group and have no doubt that he will add enormous value to us.   His expertise in management accounts, creating complex structured finance vehicles and meticulous client focus will complement the team enormously.  As a Group we are extremely invested in growing our corporate business and our Irish operation has always been central to this.”

Orlando Figueroa, Co-Global Managing Director, Structured Services, adds: "The addition of Keat to our team is an important step towards our vision of building a global, best-in-class structured finance team.  We look forward to future hires in our other key jurisdictions."

First Names Group has nearly 650 ‘First Names’ operating globally in 14 strategic locations and is one of the world's largest independent trust, corporate and fund service providers.
