ETF and ETP sponsor and asset manager WisdomTree Investments has named lisa Maute as Head of US Sales.
Maute joined WisdomTree in June of 2008, spending five years as a Regional Director in the Company's National Full Service (NFS) broker/dealer channel and the past two years as a Regional Director covering the Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) channel in the Midwest.
"Alisa's extraordinary track record of achievement across key distribution channels, her extensive knowledge of our products as well as a deep understanding of client needs makes her the ideal leader to oversee and expand WisdomTree's U.S. distribution capabilities," says Jonathan Steinberg, WisdomTree CEO and President.
While at WisdomTree, Maute has identified and cultivated important relationships across the financial and investment advisor community, ranging from Broker-Dealers, RIAs and Family Offices to emerging opportunities in the ETF Strategist and Bank Trust sub-channels. Her 15 years of investment management experience includes sales leadership, strategy and execution, portfolio consultation and business development. Prior to joining WisdomTree, Alisa was Vice President and Regional Sales Manager at Van Kampen Investments. Her responsibilities included strategic planning, organisation and oversight for divisional operations and management of 20 sales consultants. She began her career at Morgan Stanley Investment Management. Maute is a Certified Investment Management Analyst and Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst. She holds a Masters of Business Administration from DePaul University, where she graduated with honors, and a Bachelor's of Business Administration from The University of Iowa.
Maute will assume the Head of Sales role effective 1 June, 2015, enabling Luciano Siracusano, WisdomTree's current Head of Sales, to focus full time on his duties as Chief Investment Strategist (CIS) for WisdomTree. Siracusano has led WisdomTree's sales organisation since 2008 while also serving as the firm's CIS, and was previously WisdomTree's Director of Research. As Executive Vice President and CIS, Luciano will continue to serve on the Company's Executive Management team.
