F&C reported to be joining the UK’s ETF market

News came this morning that F&C Asset Management is to launch a range of ETFs and a total return fund in the UK, drawing on the ETF experience of its new owners, Canadian group Bank of Montreal (BMO).

The firm was unable to comment further when called by etfexpress but the original story cites F&C head of UK sales, Rob Thorpe. BMO claims to be Canada’s first bank, founded in 1817 and offers ETFs in Canada, North America and Hong Kong.
