Her educational background includes graduating from Georgetown University with a degree in foreign languages and literature and gaining a master’s degree in European politics and governance from the London School of Economics and Political Science. More recently, she was awarded an Executive MBA at the Richard Ivey School of Business in Hong Kong where she won the Ivey Scholar Award as the top student in her year.

Dominic Wheatley, Chief Executive of Guernsey Finance, says: “I am delighted to welcome Kate to Guernsey Finance. Given her experience, we identified Kate as the ideal candidate for this newly created role and believe she will be a real asset not only to the Guernsey Finance team, but to the Island’s finance industry as a whole. Her communication skills are exemplary and I look forward to working in tandem with her as we target new markets and products for the benefit of Guernsey’s finance industry.”

Commenting on her appointment, Miss Clouston said: “I am very excited to be joining Guernsey Finance and to help develop the fantastic opportunities that lie ahead for the Island’s finance industry.”
