BMO Financial Group unveils new wealth management brand

BMO Financial Group has launched BMO Wealth Management, a new umbrella for its wealth management businesses.

The launch aligns all of BMO's existing wealth lines of business under one global wealth management umbrella. It will serve as a catalyst to rethink the way BMO Financial Group helps Canadians manage change and their finances.

"The relationships we have with our clients and their families are deeply personal and often span generations," says Gilles Ouellette, President and CEO, BMO Wealth Management. "Clients see all aspects of their financial life as interconnected. Introducing BMO Wealth Management allows us to go to market as one united voice, helping us build on the very strong momentum we've had over the past number of years."

At the core of the new brand's promise is a commitment by BMO to help clients "turn change into opportunity".

"We know that life events and market changes can often act as catalysts for clients to consider changing their approach to wealth management," says Betsey Chung, Chief Marketing Officer, Canadian Banking & Wealth Management, BMO Financial Group. "BMO is here to help by turning change into opportunity."

The launch of BMO Wealth Management will be supported by a multi-faceted ad campaign which will appear across all customer experience platforms and webpages.

The campaign tells the stories of clients going through significant life changes – newly single, ageing parents, kids returning after university and changing market conditions to name a few – and showcases how BMO Wealth Management can help clients turn those changes into opportunities for greater financial success and peace of mind.
