Hargreave Hale opens Nottingham branch

Hargreave Hale has opened a new Nottingham branch with the appointment of three investment managers – Riccardo Landucci, Michael Harvey and Helen English.

The trio has more than 80 years’ collective investment management experience. They all join the firm from Charles Stanley.
The team will provide discretionary investment management services to private clients, intermediaries, corporates, charities and trusts, as well as advisory and execution only services.
Riccardo began his investment career in the City of London in 1983 with FPG Spencer Thornton Northcote and Pilling & Co. In 1996 he relocated to Nottingham where along with Michael he later established Charles Stanley’s local area office. Michael started his career at Lloyds Bank before a stint with stockbroking firm Waters Lunniss. Helen previously worked in the private banking divisions of Lloyds TSB and Coutts.
Stuart Brookes, joint managing director, Hargreave Hale, says: “The opening of Nottingham office is another signal of our intent to expand the business and in doing so, recruit talented investment professionals who buy into our customer first ethos.”
The new branch is part of the firm’s continuing regional expansion following the recent opening of a Hargreave Hale branch in York and the forthcoming launch of an office in Norwich.
The firm’s private client business also operates from London, Bangor, Blackpool, Carlisle, Lancaster and Worcester. Since April 2013, Hargreave Hale’s funds under management have doubled to GBP4.5bn and 40 new staff have joined the company, bringing total headcount above 200.
