Pioneer Investments has named Henry Orvin as Senior Vice President, Head of Business Development in the US. He is based in Boston.
Orvin will lead the firm’s relationships with some of Pioneer Investments’ largest US intermediary clients, including wealth management firms in the national, regional and independent channels. He will lead a team of business development officers and portfolio consultants who work together, providing full business and portfolio support to our client relationships. He is responsible for strengthening the company’s overall partnerships with intermediary client firms and establishing new client relationships. The team focuses on positioning Pioneer’s long-standing investment capabilities and innovative investment solutions to effectively meet clients’ needs and market challenges. His new role was effective 4 May, 2015. He reports to Mark Spina, Executive Vice President and Head of US Intermediary Distribution.
Orvin has more than 30 years of experience in the financial services industry. Prior to joining Pioneer, he was Director, National Accounts at Allianz Global Investors. He has also held senior distribution roles at Managers Investors Group and Lincoln Financial. Orvin was also a wholesaler and sales manager before focusing on relationship management and business development. He was an Infantry Officer in the US Army and has a B.A. in Economics from Wofford College.
