Wilmington Trust has hired John Barrett as managing director and senior private client advisor for the firm’s Norwalk, Connecticut. office.
In this role, Barrett will provide comprehensive wealth management advice to high-net-worth individuals, families, entrepreneurs, business owners, foundations and endowments. He will focus on clients in Connecticut, Westchester County, and New York City.

Barrett joins Wilmington Trust with 20 years of experience in the financial industry. Most recently, he was private client advisor with US Trust in New York. Previously, he was managing director with First Republic Bank, and held positions at TD Bank Wealth Management and JP Morgan Chase Private Bank.
