Old Mutual Wealth appoints Andrew Miller as investment specialist

RELATED TOPICS

Old Mutual Wealth has added to its specialist sales team with the appointment of Andrew Miller in the role of Investment Specialist.

Joining the company from Architas, Miller will focus on helping advisers establish and improve upon their investment propositions, providing support and consultancy to allow advisers to deliver outstanding outcomes for their clients more efficiently.

The shake-up in the financial services industry since the introduction of RDR at the start of 2013 has been relentless and Andrew’s appointment further emphasises Old Mutual Wealth’s commitment to helping advisers grow their business by increasing their investment expertise and demonstrating the value of their services to clients.

Miller will work with advisers to enhance their understanding of Old Mutual Wealth’s investment solutions, including the award winning WealthSelect range of researched funds, through a series of workshops, events, seminars and visits. WealthSelect is one of the UK’s fastest-growing investment solutions, attracting an additional GBP1billion in assets since its launch in 2014, over 90 per cent of which is held in the managed portfolio service.

Tony Harris, Head of Specialist Sales, Old Mutual Wealth, says: “Financial advisers are experiencing scrutiny of their profession like never before and at Old Mutual Wealth we are committed to helping them do business in the most efficient and effective way they can. Our continued expansion of the team at this crucial time and our single-minded focus on helping advisers make the best decisions for the benefit of their clients will, I hope, ensure that we all succeed together. I am very happy to be welcoming Andrew to our expert team.”
