Washington Wealth Management (WWM), an independent hybrid Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) supporting fee and commission-based independent advisor practices across the nation, today announced that wirehouse veterans David Hughes, Scott Sade and Jonathan Woods have affiliated with the firm after departing from Wells Fargo Advisors and Morgan Stanley respectively.

Collectively, Hughes, Sade and Woods have more than 90 years of experience in the financial service industry and manage approximately USD290 million in total client assets.

Rob Bartenstein (pictured), CEO of Washington Wealth Management, says: "We are extremely pleased that David, Scott and Jonathan have decided to join our platform. While there is no question that each has a unique set of skills and a deep understanding of the industry, ultimately what makes them skilled advisors and a great fit for our firm is their shared history of delivering positive outcomes for their clients.  Their decision to affiliate with WWM underscores the strength of our value proposition and further confirms that we have become a leading destination for former wirehouse advisors who seek the benefits of true independence, but at the same time still want to leverage a robust set of operational, compliance and service support systems."

As part of his transition, Scott Sade, who managed approximately USD200 million in client assets at his prior firm, has affiliated with WWM as a newly formed, standalone independent practice, The Sade Group Private Wealth Management. Headquartered in Stuart, FL, The Sade Group Private Wealth Management provides multigenerational financial planning to mass affluent individuals, families and small business owners as well as high-net-worth retirees. Sade's firm focuses on delivering high-touch, holistic wealth management, investment management, retirement planning and estate planning advice.

Sade, Founder and Managing Director of The Sade Group Private Wealth Management, says: "My desire to build an advisory practice that blended sophisticated financial planning and investment management advice with a concierge-like approach to client service led me directly to Washington Wealth Management. The open architecture platform offered by WWM and NFP Advisor Services was a distinguishing factor, and ultimately offered me the best opportunity to expand my business over the long-term and address my clients' highly personalised, day-to-day financial planning needs."
As part of his transition, David Hughes, who managed approximately USD50 million in client assets at his prior firm, has affiliated with WWM as a newly formed, standalone independent practice, DJH Financial Services. Headquartered in Woodland Hills, CA, DJH Financial Services offers mass affluent and high-net-worth individuals access to traditional wealth management and financial planning advice. More information is available at djh.financial.

Hughes, Founder of DJH Financial Services, says: "I have a clear understanding of how I would like to run my practice, and in Washington Wealth Management I finally have a partner that is completely aligned with both my business objectives and my commitment to offer clients unbiased, independent financial planning advice. Thanks to WWM's support, I am no longer limited by a top-down approach and can truly craft customised plans for each client, while also folding in more sophisticated investment services and options."

As part of his transition, Jonathan Woods, who managed approximately USD40 million in client assets at his prior firm, has affiliated with WWM as a newly formed, standalone independent practice, Woods Asset Management. Headquartered in Darien, CT, Woods Asset Management provides wealth management and financial planning services to individuals and families, with a special focus on portfolio management.

Woods, Founder and Chief Investment Officer at Woods Asset Management, says: "After an extensive search and due diligence process, it was evident that Washington Wealth Management has the right team in place to fully support my transition to independence. I am more confident than ever that this is not only the best move for my firm but also my clients, who will now benefit from my ability to deliver a more a highly personalised level of service."

Bartenstein says: "The professionalism and dedication to service that David, Scott and Jonathan exemplify are fundamental to the culture we are building at Washington Wealth Management. Through a combination of leading turnkey practice management support and resources, all offered with the widest possible scope of affiliation choices, we believe we will continue to attract high-calibre advisors that are interested in providing personalised client service that is simply not available in a wirehouse environment."

The Washington Wealth Management RIA is a wholly-owned subsidiary of NFP and operates under its own brand and leadership team within NFP's independent advisor-focused business group, NFP Advisor Services.
