March Asset Management appoints Miguel Ángel García Muñoz as CEO

March AM, the asset management arm of Spain’s last family owned bank, Banca March, has appointed Miguel Ángel García Muñoz as CEO.

Muñoz was the market strategy director at Banca March – a role which is central to the bank’s highly successful value proposition. His appointment is in line with the Bank’s philosophy of internal talent promotion. Muñoz replaces Jose Luis Jimenez, who is leaving March AM to join Mapfre as Head of Investment.

March AM offers a differential product offering in the Spanish and international markets. Focusing on its expertise in global equities the company has exploited the advantages gained from its long established core fund ‘Torrenova’ and extended its reach by launching specialist funds such as the unique wine industry fund ‘Vini Catena’ and the ‘Family Businesses Fund’.
