Sun Life Global Investments reduces management fees for two funds

RELATED TOPICS

Sun Life Global Investments has announced management fee reductions for several series of Sun Life Dynamic Equity Income Fund and Sun Life Dynamic Equity Income Class.

The management fees for Series F and O of Sun Life Dynamic Equity Income Fund and Sun Life Dynamic Equity Income Class will be reduced from 0.85 per cent to 0.75 per cent.

Series F units are available to investors who have a fee-based account with their dealer. Series O units are available within the Private Client program to investors who meet the minimum requirements.

Also effective 29 July, 2015, the investment strategy of Sun Life MFS Canadian Bond Fund will be changed to permit the Fund to invest at least 70 per cent of the Fund's assets in debt instruments rated BBB and above, rather than limiting the investments to debt instruments rated above BBB. This change will provide MFS Investment Management Canada Limited, the sub-advisor of the fund, more opportunity to take advantage of their deep credit analysis.

The investment strategy of the Sun Life Dynamic Strategic Yield Fund will be changed on or before 30 September, 2015. The fund will no longer achieve its investment objectives by investing all of its assets in units of Dynamic Strategic Yield Fund and instead will invest directly in a diversified portfolio of fixed income and income-oriented equity securities. Sun Life Dynamic Strategic Yield Class will continue to achieve its investment objectives by investing in units of Sun Life Dynamic Strategic Yield Fund. The change to the Sun Life Dynamic Strategic Yield Fund may result in a special distribution to investors.
