Wealth advisors, Alex Bryer and Keith Mayo, have joined Snowden Lane Partners, an independent, advisor-owned, wealth advisory firm, from Merrill Lynch.
Known as the Mayo-Bryer Group, the team will work out of Snowden Lane’s newly-opened office in Bethesda, MD. They are joined by colleagues Ryan Perraut, Private Wealth Advisor, and Heather Talesnick, Registered Client Relationship Manager. Bryer and Mayo both join as Partners and Managing Directors. Together, the Mayo-Bryer Group oversees $240 million in total client assets.
“We are thrilled to join Snowden Lane and we look forward to serving our current and future clients in our new home,” says Bryer, an industry veteran and the former longtime Resident Director in Merrill Lynch’s Bethesda office. “As we looked at the wealth advisory landscape and considered where our clients would be best served, it didn’t take long for Snowden Lane to jump to the top of our list. Their commitment and dedication to offering high-quality service in an independent, client-first setting, truly sets them apart.”
The Mayo-Bryer Group primarily serves high net worth individuals, families, corporations and philanthropic institutions.
“Adding Alex, Keith and their team to the Snowden Lane family is a big win for us,” says Greg Franks (pictured), Managing Partner and President of Snowden Lane. “I have known them for years, they are highly regarded practitioners and we are so pleased to have them as our partners.”
Lyle LaMothe, Snowden Lane’s Chairman, adds: “Bethesda is a high-quality market and is the perfect location for our new office. Since day one we’ve had ambitious plans to grow Snowden Lane into a leading national brand and this is just the latest step in that effort.”
Rob Mooney, Snowden Lane’s Managing Partner and CEO, says: “This is another important milestone for our company. The addition of Alex, Keith and their team takes our total client assets over $2 billion and establishes our sixth office around the country. With the opening of our new flagship headquarters in New York City in September, and a strong recruiting pipeline, 2015 is shaping up to be a banner year for Snowden Lane.”
