Fairstone expands in London with three appointments

Fairstone Financial Management, part of the Fairstone Group, has appointed Neil Sims, Jacqueline Robinson and Paul Ellis as IFAs in the firm’s London office.

The new appointments now brings adviser numbers in Fairstone’s City operation to 30, supported by local compliance and para-planning staff. This continued growth has recently led the business to relocate to bigger premises at Copthall Avenue, in the heart of the financial district, to accommodate greater working and client meeting space.

Sims joins Fairstone as a Chartered Financial Planner after twelve years as an adviser with Hays Macintyre and Helm Godfrey. He spent twenty years in senior management positions at national IFA firms such as Noble Lowndes and Sedgewick Independent Financial Consultants and is an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute.

Robinson joins as a Chartered Financial Planner after 15 years’ experience as an IFA and bank trader and stockbroker. Jacqueline will offer clients independent investment advice in areas including pensions, trusts and long term care as well as protection.

Ellis joins Fairstone Financial Management as an IFA with responsibility for retirement planning, investments, mortgages and protection. Paul has spent almost 10 years in the industry and prior to joining Fairstone he was working as a Director for Skilton Wealth Management.

Lee Hartley (pictured), Chief Executive of Fairstone Group, says: “I think we have clearly demonstrated that our London operation provides a fantastic environment for high performing advisers like Neil, Jacqueline and Paul. The revenues delivered from this office now easily exceed GBP5 million per annum and show no signs of slowing down.

“Their in-depth expertise and experience will support our ongoing growth and will add to our ability to provide holistic and specialist advice to all of our clients that are serviced from our City location. I look forward to working closely with each of our new colleagues over the coming months and years.”
