FolioDynamix adds Investment Solutions Executive

RELATED TOPICS

FolioDynamix, a provider of wealth management technology and advisory services, has launched an enhanced program targeted to registered investment firms of all sizes, to be overseen by new investment solutions executive, Joseph Miskel.

The enhanced investment strategies program, called VisX Flex, is an addition to the VisX family of portfolio allocation solutions available through FDx Advisors, FolioDynamix' registered investment advisor (RIA) affiliate.

VisX Flex is designed to offer RIAs and other wealth management firms an array of portfolio allocation strategies that includes unified managed accounts (UMAs), exchange traded funds (ETFs), mutual funds and blends of these for income and growth objectives. The program is flexible in that it enables portfolio managers to design combination investment portfolios that include their own investment selections alongside VisX strategies. The portfolios are then managed on the market-leading FolioDynamix technology platform, giving advisors the added benefit of next-generation technology.

FolioDynamix has also announced it will offer transition services to Curian Capital clients to accelerate mapping of its existing portfolios to VisX Flex and the FolioDynamix platform.

"Our goal with VisX Flex is to give registered investment advisors access to institutional-quality research and rigorously screened investment manager products, while also giving them the flexibility to create their own customized portfolios," says Shari Hensrud-Ellingson, chief investment officer for FDx Advisors and FolioDynamix. "The VisX Flex program is ideal for advisors who are looking for portfolio allocation strategies, the flexibility to mix and match investment products and access to secure, cloud technology on which to create and manage all of their client accounts. In situations where firms need to quickly transition client assets, such as those impacted by the Curian Capital shutdown, VisX Flex provides a turnkey package that can help firms recover quickly and retain their clients – while ultimately giving them a stronger platform for growing their business."

"I am excited to join a market-leading firm like FolioDynamix," says Miskel, EVP of investment solutions for FolioDynamix. "The launch of VisX Flex is a powerful investment solution that gives RIAs the flexibility they need to better service clients. The VisX program has tremendous momentum right now, and we've been adding new clients and growing AUM aggressively over the past six months. I look forward to continuing that growth in the coming year."
