Quilter Cheviot launches Zurich wrap

RELATED TOPICS

Quilter Cheviot has partnered with Zurich to provide advisers with access to its Managed Portfolio Service (MPS) via the Zurich Intermediary Platform.

The investment management firm pioneered the development of professional investment outsourcing solutions for financial advisers with the launch of its MPS in 2001.

The Quilter Cheviot MPS provides a range of discretionary investment portfolios which offer clients diversified exposure to global financial markets and the ability to switch easily between different strategies.

Advisers using the Zurich Intermediary Platform will benefit from access to the following active strategies: Global Growth; Growth; Balanced; Global Income; Income and Conservative. Passive strategies available include Index (IDX) Growth; IDX Balanced; IDX Income and IDX Conservative.
The collaboration with Zurich is a welcome addition to the growing number of partnership agreements that Quilter Cheviot has signed in recent years, as part of its programme to enter into strategic collaborations with selected platforms and advisers. Other platforms offering Quilter Cheviot’s investment solutions via their wrap include Ascentric, Aviva, Nucleus, Novia, Fusion, Old Mutual and Standard Life.

Quilter Cheviot’s MPS strategies have been mapped by three leading independent risk profiling services – Distribution Technology’s Dynamic Planner, Capita’s Synaptic Risk Rating Service and FinaMetrica – making it simple for advisers to choose a strategy which matches their client’s appetite for risk and financial objectives.

Joint Head of MPS at Quilter Cheviot, Julian Menges (pictured), says: “Offering Quilter Cheviot’s services through the Zurich Wrap makes it simple for advisers to provide investment solutions that are both robust and flexible for their clients, while at the same time enjoying a high level of personal service themselves.

“Our MPS offers rigorous fund selection supported by the considerable skills of our in-house research team, meaning we are able to provide optimal returns for our clients. This is a really attractive proposition, and we’re confident it will be well-received by financial advisers.”

Alistair Wilson, Head of Retail Platform Strategy at Zurich, adds: “We are delighted to have Quilter Cheviot join the growing list of DFMs available on the Zurich platform. Their distribution strategy is very much aligned to our own and with both businesses demonstrating a shared commitment to the UK market, they were an obvious addition to our range.  Today's announcement further strengthens the offerings for both parties.”
